scrolling on an iBook G4. Works like a
charm. The one that handles both methods is a little screwy because
it switches to X/Y mode as you're making circles and the scroll kind
of jitters, so get both of them and test each one to see which you
like better. I've found the X/Y one to be the best, which is also,
coincidentally, the mode Apple chose for the new PBs.

So the Washingtonienne photoshoot in
Playboy is finally online, and as I was looking at it I had to wonder,
"Do they have a special iBook with the Apple Logo removed, or are
their photoshop people just that good?" Because either way, I'd
be impressed. I guess we could just ask, but that's not as much fun as
speculation.
Oh, this linked interview with Jessica Cutler is safe for work,
actually, but it still is, you know, Playboy, so fair warning.

program has been extended until March 18. The program covers specific
iBook models manufactured between May 2002 and April 2003; many of
those computers have experienced logic board component failures that
led to video display problems. iBooks with serial numbers in the
UV117XXXXXX to UV342XXXXXX range are covered by this program, which
allows owners of affected computers to send them to an Apple repair
