protracted legal battle between the two companies had made
communication almost impossible, and a fat Microsoft contact list like
Lenail's unthinkable.

breath of life
breath of life
02/19/2004 03:32 PMIf everything goes according to plan, Ryan, Nolan and I will embark on
a new and wonderful phase of our lives together this evening. We will
grab some root beers, sit at our dining room table, and I will take
them on their very first dungeon crawl.

We have spent the last week or so creating characters, discussing the
rules, and building excitement for tonight's adventure. I have been
staying up an extra hour or two each night after the kids go to bed,
pouring over websites and my core rule books, simulating combats and
creating NPCs. I'm pretty nervous, because I'm DMing an adventure for
the first time since The Isle of Dread in 6th grade. And back then, I
managed to kill everyone in the party pretty quickly, and never got to
sit behind the screen again.

I love garlic but I love miniture garlic more. What is
miniture garlic?
I am not sure if they are really garlic but they are spicy and has
that piercing and
lingering taste similar to garlic. In Korea, they are called
Dal-lae.
They are sold at Korean markets but only for short period of time
late spring/early
summer. They are hard to prepare too. What you see
above took my wife
an hour.
Best way to eat them is raw with a touch of dressing made with soy
sauce, vinegar,
red pepper, sugar, and sesame oil. Very very delicious if you
like spicy food.
Only downside is that, as with garlic, breathing out calls for
courage.

Siemens Phone Tests for Bad Breath
Siemens Phone Tests for Bad Breath
09/22/2004 08:38 AMWhile the original Reuters story is suffering from
linkrot, Mobile Weblog gives us just enough information about Siemens
new phone that can detect bad breath and alert you if you're skanky to
know that we want one. Details are slim, of course, but one would
presume you have to breathe into a sensor, hopefully one in the
mouthpiece, where you're already breathing, and not some stick-out
breathalizer tube that makes it obvious to everyone what you're
testing for.
And speaking of, how much harder would it be to develop a
breathalizer test for alcohol levels? Then you could get know you had
rancid breath and how many beers it took you to get it.
