Fossil Fool Down Low Glow 08/20/2004 12:50 PM

thao-lowrider.jpg imageOh good, rice for bikes! While ostensibly the Down Low Glow from Fossil Fool is for safety, I think we all know what the real purpose of these kits are - to siphon money away from filthy Burning Man participants and/or gangbangers. But whether you're caked in dried mud or just the shame of your own personal style choices, the Down Low Glow can be yours for just $100.

Or you can spring for the two-light set for $150. Might as well.

Fossil delays the Palm OS wristwatch PDA
again
01/22/2004 03:21 AM
Plans for Fossil Inc.'s Palm OS-based smart wristwatch are back to square one, as the version that was expected to be out in the middle of last year has been shelved in favor of a less expensive and more powerful version of the watch now scheduled for release in the middle of this year, Fossil said Wednesday.

Fossil Wrist PDA (Finally) Reviewed

Fossil Wrist PDA (Finally) Reviewed 02/05/2005 10:17 PM

wristpda.jpg imageFor those of you who don't mind adorning your wrist with what appears to be a small, metal-framed end table comes the Wrist PDA from Fossil. Possibly the first wrist watch to come with a stylus, (albeit one that looks like the nail file from a mini-Leatherman) Fossil has jam-packed every ounce of PalmOS goodness they could into a little square. As a bonus, they've graciously packed it in an adorable orange tin which you can later use to store your Tinker Toys or fingers collection. FossilWristPDA.com has a surprisingly balanced review/getting started guide that gets only a little bit smarmy (and we'll cut them some slack, since they've obviously been anxiously sitting on that domain for a while). It seems that writing on the watch has a bit of a learning curve, but using most third party software works well and allows you to pack quite a bit of functionality onto your wrist. It's only taken like 3 years to get here.
