I released a packaging of some DJB tools
and some ...
03/13/2003 10:22 AM

I released a packaging of some DJB tools and some custom code to give you Rendezvous email, a local DNS cache to futher speed name translations, a POP server, and a secure, simple, local SMTP server that you can use everywhere instead of switching everytime you change your network environment. You can find it here: http://au.gu.st.

As this is an alpha, I'm looking for feedback, mainly in how the UI should behave. Perhaps moving the whole thing to a preference pane. Also looking for general usability comments on sending email via Rendezvous. Pick a name and append "@gu.st" to email me.

This is a GrokNews Entry: (what is grok?)

Episode III Toy Packaging Revealed! 07/24/2004 05:59 PM
Hyperspace members are getting a real treat today that's for sure! In the article titled "Inside Star Wars Spectacular: Episode III" there has been just major announcement after major announcement! Now there is a great image of what the packaging will look like come spring 2005. We obviously cannot post Hyperspace material on this website but I will try to describe it a bit to you. Vader's head is centered looking down with an evil stare from behind spewing lava, kinda like this logo for C-3. The bubble covers most of the front of the card and is dome shaped much like the Holiday Edition Wal-mart exclusives. Stay tuned to Rebelscum for more info and images soon!

Havoc "no permalinks" Pennington has some smart thinking about Linux software dependencies and packaging.
