SyncDek Single-user
Engine 5.0, as well as SyncDek Network Engine 5.0, and SyncDek
Developer Kit are now shipping. Designed for use at remote sites and
by on-the-go employees who often must work offline, SyncDek 5.0
enables synchronization of specific fields between distributed
FileMaker databases, using Java-based background services -- the new
feature found in this version -- to do so. It's compatible with
FileMaker 6 and 7 databases and requires Mac OS X v10.2.x or higher,
30MB RAM and 50MB free hard drive space.

week's Apple Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) in San Francisco,
Calif. to provide live demonstrations of its SyncDeK Engines and
SyncDeK Developer Kit software. SyncDeK helps FileMaker Pro developers
with bidirectional asynchronous data replication, with the ability to
work online or offline. The software is currently available for Mac OS
X with a Windows version in the works. Look for the company to
demonstrate SyncDeK in FileMaker's booth on Monday from 2 - 3:30PM. A
related presentation entitled "Database Solutions for Mac OS X" will
be held in the Pacific Heights room on Friday, July 2 at 10:30AM.
