The ionCube standalone PHP encoder is now launched for Linux. The encoder is available FREE for evaluation purposes, and is fully featured. A FreeBSD version will follow. Features include: * Creating time expiring scripts (great for producing trialware)
* IP restricting for scripts
* Encoding single files or entire directories
* Creating encoded files that can be loaded without editing php.ini or restarting the web server
* Including or excluding arbitrary directories and files by name and pattern
* User selectable encoder performance for where encoding speed is critical (e.g. if creating trialware on the fly for a user to download)
* Syntax checking feature with emacs/xemacs style error reporting, allowing easy integration with the emacs compile/next-error feature
* and more...
The encoder is available for download and evaluation now, and available for purchase within the next 24 hours. The initial launch price is US $350. The encoder generates encoded files that require the latest version (1.0.4) of the loader, available free on the site for Linux and FreeBSD/OpenBSD very soon.
