Allegro PCI adapter card, which adds USB 2.0 connectivity to any
Mac with an open PCI slot. It features five USB 2.0 ports, four

computers, except the G4 Cube.

0/1 natively in Mac OS X v10.1.5 or higher, with large LBA support for
drives bigger than 137GB. FirmTek announced a US$99.95 price and said
it will ship the card during the fourth quarter.

designed for use with Final Cut Pro HD running in Mac OS X v10.3 on a

10-bit uncompressed single link SD SDI; component YUV; S-Video,
composite video and dual link SD SDI; component YUV/RGB; S-Video; and
composite output. The video card supports Final Cut Pro HD's RT
Extreme architecture, which allows real-time playback of such effects
as additive dissolves, in addition to Photo-JPEG capture and playback

palmOne Inc.
announced that its first Wi-Fi card for the Tungsten T3 and Zire 72
handhelds will be available in early September. The US$129 card is
designed to complement the devices' built-in Bluetooth capability with
802.11b technology that allows wireless access to the Internet
whenever the user is within range of a Wi-Fi access point or hotspot.
It fits into the handheld's SDIO slot and searches for available Wi-Fi
networks when the user taps the setup icon on the screen. palmOne had
not yet placed a product page for the new card on its Web site as
MacCentral posted this article.

Orange 22 design studio is promoting their new Aurora cocktail table,
a pleasing LED-lit piece of furniture with the look of a giant,
glowing Life Saver. By rubbing the touch-pad on the lower lip of the
Aurora, you can change the hue, brightness, or "animation" of the
'Pixcell' lights inside the translucent acrylic table. If you're
already going to spend the $3,600 price for the table, though, you
might as well add in the $300 wireless remote, as well.
