Political Friendster.

Political Friendster applies Friendster's approach to current politics, mostly with an American focus. It treats c ompanies, p oliticians, a gencies, and o bjects as friends with profiles and six-degrees-of-separation links. There's also a Flash-based visualiza tion tool, a bit like the excellent They Rule.

David Galbraith reports on Chatango is a full IM client - done in Flash - that works. It's simple. And it's embedded.

It reminds of what Userplane offers and - of course - Laszlo Systems.

This stuff is starting to make it out there.

Of course - the ODDpost deal is gonna put compelling UI's onto the front burner - once it ships with Yahoo.

Coolio Facewall interface

Leonard Lin points to this dyanmic Facewall interface which features folks turning their heads to look at who you've zoomed into.

Totally coolio.

The idea is that as you roll over a face, that person's details appear. This way you don't have to wait for another page to load - to find out something about somebody.

These sort of dyanmic UIs are exactly what Laszlo Systems is great for.

God help you - if you wanna build something like this with a timeline.
