E-Filers Not Worried About Security

E-Filers Not Worried About Security 04/15/2005 03:49 PM
It appears that all of the various secur ity breaches getting publicity recently haven't scared away people from e-filing. It turns out the number one reason people aren't e-filing their tax returns this year is that difficu lty in doing e-filing if you had a professional do your taxes for you. In the meantime, though, is it really any surprise that the IRS website is getting bombarded by visitors? The Minute Man Project 03/24/2005 04:59 PM
For 30 days, we're going to shut down that illegal alien smuggling alley Ok, probably not; but when the War on Terrorâ„¢ doesn't seem to include our own borders, what else is a citizen to do? The President has this take: "I'm against vigilantes in the United States of America," Mr. Bush said at a joint press conference. "I'm for enforcing the law in a rational way." Is the Minute Man project irrational? When the government refuses to put troops on the borders or even beef up the current border patrol, what are the available options?
