The Bazaar Revision Control System is a
changeset-oriented revision control system
based on Arch that makes it possible to retain
previous changes to projects and coordinate
development with other developers. Its goal is
to speed development of an upwards-
compatible version of Arch.
Changes:
This point release corrects two performance
regressions from baz 1.2 and a major correctness
regression in "update". The "update" operation was
using the wrong reference inode signature,
resulting in changes not being applied. Ancestry
gathering was too greedy, leading to the "status"
and "diff" operations taking a very long time to
complete. The "get" operation would scan entire
versions even when not necessary.

arch is a modern replacement for CVS, specifically
designed for the distributed development needs of
open source projects. It has uniquely good support
for development on branches (especially good
merging tools), distributed repositories (every
developer can have branches in their own
repository), changeset-oriented project management
(arch commits changes to multiple files at once),
and, of course, file and directory renaming.

can specify priorities for your applications so
that when one is not running, the program
automatically directs joystick commands to the
running application highest on the list.

which use CAT or similar computer interfaces for control.
Changes:
This release adds new models TS-480, VR5000, and FT1000MkV Fld. The
frontend API sees port_t renamed as hamlib_port_t. Many fixes were
brought to models TS-570S, AR7030, AR3000A, Orion, FT-897, and IC746.
The 64-bit int handling is corrected, which potentially fixes the
backends kenwood, alinco, pcr, uniden, aor, jrc, and tentec. Parallel
port support has been added for BSD systems. Along with Visual Basic
testing, a .NET wrapper is now available.

Domain Technologie Control (DTC) is a Web-based control panel for
hosting that can delegate the task of creating subdomains, email, and
FTP accounts to users for the domain names they own. It has support
for many programs, including bind 8 and 9, MySQL, Apache, PHP 4,
qmail, Postfix, Courier, Dovecot, ProFTPD, Webalizer, and mod-log-sql.
It can also generate backup scripts, calculation scripts, and config
files using a single system UID/GID, and monitor all traffic
accounting per user and per service. It is fully skinnable and
translated into several languages.
Changes:
A lot of code cleanup was done because
error_reporting was switched to E_ALL. The
installer now works on Red Hat and Mac OS X, and a
new FreeBSD port was added. Backup NS and MX are
now intelligently cached in files, and "lynx -s"
is used if fopen() with HTTPS is not available
(prior PHP 4.3). Apache restart checking was
improved. The installer restarts all daemons after
configuration. The panel can now handle CNAME and
TXT records.
CD Input and Control Library 0.73

CD Input and Control Library 0.73
(Default branch)
04/16/2005 10:16 AM
The Compact Disc Input and Control library encapsulates CD-ROM reading
and control for applications wishing to be oblivious to the OS- and
device-dependent properties of a CD-ROM. It provides an API for access
to SCSI-MMC (multimedia commands) and support for CD image types like
BIN/CUE, cdrdao's TOC, and Nero's NRG, which gives applications using
the library the ability to read disc images as though they were CDs.
ISO-9660 filesystem support is included, as are utility programs for
displaying CD and CD-ROM drive information, reading the blocks of a
CD, and extracting files from an ISO-9660 filesytem image. cdparanoia
is also included.
Changes:
This release adds support for Rock Ridge Extension and CD audio, a
standalone utility for playing CDs using the new audio controls, more
C++ example programs, and support for GCC 4. It also fixes some memory
leaks and bugs.

03/31/2005 07:22 AM

Traffic Control Super Script implements traffic
shaping for IP traffic passing through a
NAT/bridge box with a single configuration file
with one line per host. It can manage bandwidth to
user-specified speeds based on the u32 classifier,
and can identify traffic by source, destination,
source and destination port, protocol, and ToS
field. It then limits the rate of connection in
either a single or a bidirectional fashion.

branch)
03/27/2005 09:21 PM

The Interreality project is a collection of Open Source, Free Software
projects based on the Virtual Object System (VOS) platform. The goal
is to develop a free and open platform for
multiuser 3D virtual reality and interactive, collaborative 3D virtual
spaces. The VOS is the software infrastructure that makes this vision
real. VOS is a powerful object-oriented networking platform with many
applications in and beyond virtual reality. It is the basis for
Ter'Angreal, a general-purpose browser application for entering and
participating in 3D worlds.
Changes:
A new VOS Infrastructure Protocol (VIP), and a new transport protocol
built on UDP to support low-latency messaging and multiple parallel
data streams in a single connection. The VOS 3D Browser Ter'Angreal
now has a wxWidgets-based GUI. The GUI supports chatting, loading new
avatars, bookmarking worlds, loading worlds from COD files, and more.
Many improvements to the VOS plugin to the Crystal Space 3D engine.
Better Windows support (compiles under MinGW). Now provides a Windows
exe installer. Debian packages are available for x86 via apt-get.
Should now compile and run on OS X.

My Own Building System (MOBS) 2.1

06/05/2005 11:23 PM
MOBS is a building system a la autoconf, but a lot
easier for both developers and users. It's very
easy to use and tune, even for medium-sized
projects. If you want your project to be
configurable and accept most "./configure" options
but without the hassle and burden autoconf and
friends impose, this is for you. It has good
documentation and a low steep learning curve, and
even has a bit of application framework in order
to ease development.

Changes:
Due to a design flaw, "Makefile" must be called
"Makefile.in" now. This prevents a nasty situation
where the end user could do "make" before
configuring the project with "0".

using a file tree similar to the Windows Explorer.
A Windows (SMB) backup feature and an encryption
feature are available for an additional charge and
require a separate license key. The Windows backup
feature allows SMB clients to be backed up from a
Linux host. The encryption feature can encrypt

stages and their conclusions, which allows a

The Global File System (GFS) is a 64-bit shared disk cluster file
system for Linux. GFS cluster nodes physically share the same storage
by means of Fibre Channel or shared SCSI devices. The file system
appears to be local on each node and GFS synchronizes file access
across the cluster. GFS is fully symmetric, meaning that all nodes are
equal and there is no server which may be a bottleneck or single point
of failure. GFS uses read and write caching while maintaining full
UNIX file system semantics. GFS supports journaling, recovery from
client failures, and many other features.

PHP Application Distribution Licensing
System 0.5.3 (Default branch)
06/22/2005 02:27 AM

The PHP Application Distribution Licensing System
(PADL) generates keys that control the
distribution of PHP applications according to a
license. It generates license strings that can
bind PHP applications to specific servers, confine
execution to a limited time period, or restrict
execution to a single server. The time limiting
uses a start period (and a given start offset to
allow for time discrepancies) and an expiry date
if required. When validating a key it is possible
to optionally make applications dial home to check
the license key on your own server. It is also
possible to encrypt additional information into
the license key.
License: GNU General Public License (GPL)
Changes:
Security updates have been added to prevent
reverse engineering of keys. Coding consistency
has been applied. The main class has been split
into various subclasses for better control and
security. Extra demos and examples have been
given.
