ArnieShwartz

ArnieShwartz 04/06/2005 12:34 PM

Name: Arun Prakash Birthdate: April 3, 1981 Best Quality: I'm extremely patient. Worst Quality: Uh-Oh... now what'd that be? I'm such a good boy! But seriously, I've thrown several temper tantrums, too. First Mac: None as of now, but I'm getting one real soon. Current Setup: AMD AthlonXP 2GHz, 512MB DDR, 64MB GeForce4 AGP, 120GB Seagate Barracuda HDD and an LG DVD-ROM CD-RW combo. What brought you to Spymac? Well, I browse a lot on the Internet, and then I was looking for something to do with the iPod, and Google showed me this "Spymac" thingy, and I decided to investigate. It turned out to be a forum, and I wasn't exactly a big fan of forums, but then I was hooked by the look. I actually used the email for a long time before discovering there was a whole lot to Spymac than just the email. I'm so glad I did. What is your favourite part of Spymac? Well, it's the forums that I haunt a lot... the galleries are quite cool - you get to see a lot of cool pics, see people's photographs...it's fun. I rarely use the shoutbox; have it turned off in favor of the trackers. You seem to post a lot in your member forum. You have a lot of fun over there? Oh yes, most definitely. I've met quite a lot of interesting people who come over regularly and we just chat about things. We do have great fun together. Love them all. Havent seen much of your entries for the contests. Have you participated in Spymac contests? I did put in an entry once. I did it 'cos I had some spare time on my hands. Otherwise, these contests require some serious work, and my work does keep me somewhat occupied. At home I dont have a Internet connection as my ISP pissed me off and I had to disconnect them and so there's no way I could do it from there either. Do you have any pets? Now? No. But we used to have a dog. It got run over by a car, and then I didn't wanna get another pet. Trauma? Maybe. But I might get one in the future. Have you met any Spymac members? Umm... not yet...but I'd sure love to meet a lot of people. Actually suchitra and I have planned to meet when she comes down sometime in May, but I'm not sure. Have you met any interesting celebrities? Hollywood? Nope. But have met a couple of film stars in India. Just happened to be at the right place at the wrong time. Who has influenced you most in life? My parents. They've taken enormous trouble to bring us up, educate us in the ways of the world... I am what I am because of those two wonderful people. Dad, Mom... I love you. If you could travel anywhere, where would you go? Hawaii... gotta see if Baywatch Hawaii really has gorgeous babes! Seriously, I'd love to travel around the world, especially to that island where they shot "The Beach." Do you have any hobbies? I build stuff...electronics, PCs, carving, whittling... and then I read. I've a steadily growing pillar of books from my readings. And I draw. At least I used to...till I ditched that for some addictive computer gaming. What secret urge do you get but refuse to act on? Ring the fire alarm at work. Heehee, okay I'm evil. *grin* I also have this urge to learn kung fu. I saw it once on Nat Geo channel and loved the moves. What makes you happiest? Things going my way. I guess so...I mean everybody's happiest when everything's going nice and smooth. The last thing anybody wants is an interruption. Tell us one thing that most people don't know about you. I have a terrible temper. But I'm also a very patient person. But there have been times when my anger just explodes and it's not a pretty sight. What is your favourite food? Chicken Tandoor...yum! What kind of music are you into? Oh, all kinds...I listen to the lyrics, you know what I mean? It's the words that I listen for, more than the tune or the music or the singers. Have you been to any good concerts? I rarely go to concerts, but I've been to Yanni's and once to a Bryan Adams show. What is the one thing you are most passionate about? I'd say writing. I like writing. How did you choose your Spymac member name? Well, I'm a fan of Arnold Shwartnegger. So, ArnieShwartz. But I'm no lean, mean fighting machine. How much time do you spend on Spymac? Way too much, I suppose! Haha... but lately I'm trying to cut down. If you had to be stuck on a deserted island with three Spymac members, who would you choose? This is gonna be difficult. Oh c'mon...just three people? I'd rather wish me and all my buds were marooned together. Have the best time of our lives till someone came to pick us up - sounds like a great idea to me. If you could be friends with anyone, at any time period, who would it be? God. Just to see if he'd conveniently forget my misdeeds. After all, friends forgive and forget, dont they? If your home was on fire and you could only grab one thing on the way out, what would it be? My MP3s and a long hose. Connect the hose to the water tap outside and try hosing down the fire. With no restrictions, what would you do tomorrow if you could do anything at all? There are brilliant people in this world with dreams of making it big some day. I'd like to fund them all and see that they reach what they set up for themselves to reach.
