Microsoft apparently is going after the developers that are what they are classifying as nonprofessional programmers. Personally I didn't realize there was such a category of programmers and hopefully they change there wording. Anyway it looks like they are going to releasing a stripped down version of many of their mainstream tools. CE Software has released a new beta (number 6) of QuicKeys X 2.0.2, which is compatible with Mac OS X 10.3 ("Panther"). Previous versions aren't. QuicKeys X is an automation utility for Mac OS X. With it, you can record the keystrokes and mouse clicks you use for common operations, then play them back as needed. You can assign tasks to be linked to hot keys, toolbar buttons, menu selections, or configure them as timed events. If you wish to use Panther and QuicKeys X, you'll need to use the new beta.
