The Atlas protocol is intended for use in networked roleplaying games, and provides a flexible and extensible means of communicating between the components of a game system. The protocol is transport independant, encoding independant and portable. Atlas-C++ is the standard implementation of the protocol in C++ used by most WorldForge software, and is made available for use in any other system.
Changes:
A new class for creating formatted text output of Atlas data has been added to the library. All virtual classes now have virtual destructors to satisfy gcc 4. The tutorial code has been brought up to date.

The protocol is transport independant, encoding independant and portable. Atlas-C++ is the standard implementation of the protocol in C++ used by most WorldForge software, and is made available for use in any other system.
Changes:
A bug has been fixed that caused Objects to be incorrectly converted to Messages. The efficiency of converting and streaming Objects has been improved.

WorldForge::Eris is designed to simplify client development (and avoid duplicating effort) by providing a common framework to deal with server communications for the WorldForge project.
Changes:
Complex request and response logic is now handled by a new Responder system. A Connection instance is now explicitly tied to a host for its lifetime. A serious crash that occurred when deleting Connections has been fixed. Animations for movement are now handled correctly.
