Raptor RDF Parser Toolkit 1.4.5 (Default
branch)
02/07/2005 01:17 AM
Raptor is a C library providing a set of parsers and
serializers for Resource Description Framework (RDF) triples by
parsing syntaxes into RDF triples and serializing triples into a
syntax. The parsers
support RDF/XML, N-Triples, Turtle, XML RSS, and Atom 0.3 via RSS tag
soup. The serializers support
RDF/XML, N-Triples, and RSS 1.0. Raptor handles RDF/XML as used by RDF
applications such as RSS 1.0, FOAF, DOAP, Dublin Core, and OWL. It can
use either expat or libxml2 for XML parsing, libcurl when available
for URI retrieval, and is portable to many POSIX systems.
Changes:
A new "RDF/XML with abbreviations" serializer was
added. Support for RSS 1.1 was added to the RSS
tag soup parser. More fixes were made to work
around the broken OSX libxml2.

Design Pattern Toolkit 3.0 (Default
branch)
04/06/2005 11:41 PM
The Design Pattern Toolkit is an Eclipse-enabled
tool for generating applications based on
customizable model-driven architecture patterns.
This plug-in can speed up the development of
common types of applications by the use of
patterns that capture best (or current) practices
for the design and implementation of those

encoded in XML files to generate multiple Eclipse
resources of multiple types that together make up
an application. The toolkit has a component for
pattern-based resource generation as well as a
component that supports pattern development and
distribution.
Changes:
Enhancements and fixes were made. This version runs on Eclipse 3.0,
RAD, and RSA. An updated "Exemplar Analysis" tool edits a model of a
transformation from which DPTK transformations can be generated.

R 2.1.0 (Default branch)
04/18/2005 12:51 PM

R is a language and environment for statistical computing and
graphics. It is similar to S, which was developed at Bell Laboratories
by John Chambers et al. It provides a wide variety of statistical and
graphical techniques (linear and nonlinear modelling, statistical
tests, time series analysis, classification, clustering, etc.). R is
designed as a true computer language with control-flow constructions
for iteration and alternation, and it allows users to add additional
functionality by defining new functions. For computationally intensive
tasks, Fortran and C code can be linked and called at run time.
Changes:
The most important changes are probably support
for UTF-8 encodings and internationalization,
including (partial) translations of menus,
warnings, and error messages to Chinese, German,
Italian, Japanese, Portugese, and Russian.

Ivy 0.8 (Default branch)
Ivy 0.8 (Default branch)
03/31/2005 09:17 AM
Ivy is a simple but powerful dependency manager.
Its key features are ease of use, extreme
flexibility, easy extensibility, Ant integration,
and transitive dependencies. It is ready to use
with the Maven ibiblio repository. It eases
continuous integration, and makes your software
component a lot simpler to use.
Changes:

ivy files, ivyrep, which helps leverage the
transitive dependencies feature. The URL resolver
handles file and HTTP URLs, and you can use the
continuous integration feature with ibiblio. A
publish artifacts feature allows you to easily
publish declared artifacts of a module to a
repository. Conflict management at resolve time
allows you to detect and remove modules that will
cause problems before downloading them.
AFD 1.2.22 (Default branch)
AFD 1.2.22 (Default branch)
03/24/2005 12:01 PM

AFD is a program to automatically distribute files either locally or
to remote hosts. The files are distributed by using FTP or SMTP, and
can be sent in parallel and with priority. It provides a GUI to
monitor and control the distribution and extensive logging of all
activities.
Changes:
In the previous version a directory name buffer
was released too early, causing amg to always
crash when there were any unfinished jobs after an
unclean shutdown. When initializing variables for
bursting, age_limit was sometimes reset
incorrectly, causing files to be deleted due to
age, even though those files actually had no age
limit. The speed of the show_queue dialog was
considerably improved.
DBG 2.11.32 (Default branch)
DBG 2.11.32 (Default branch)
02/01/2005 09:44 PM

DBG is a PHP debugger and profiler. It makes it much easier to
discover the origins of problems and bugs in PHP scripts. It's
equipped with the ability to backtrace errors. It shows local and
global variables as well as parameters which have been passed to all
nested function calls at any point of execution. Among other things,
it allows you to execute scripts in a step-by-step manner, set
breakpoints (including conditional ones), evaluate expressions, and
watch variables. The profiler allows you to find bottlenecks in PHP
code at the functions level as well as the modules level and even the
source lines level.
Changes:
This release adds support for hardened PHP, and support for PHP 5.0.3,
5.0.2, 4.3.9, and 4.3.10. It adds three new commands to dbg-cli:

automatic settings and the reasonable defaults which allow a quick
start. The actual burning is done by the command line utilities
cdrecord, cdrdao, and growisofs.
Changes:

nut is nutrition software to record what you eat and analyze your
meals for nutrient composition. The database included is the USDA
Nutrient Database for Standard Reference, Release 17, which contains
6,839 foods and 128 nutrients. This database contains values for
vitamins, minerals, fats, calories, protein, carbohydrates, fiber,
etc., and includes the essential polyunsaturated fats, Omega-3 and
Omega-6. Nutrient levels are expressed as a percentage of the Daily
Value, the familiar standard of food labeling in the United States,
but also can be fully customized. Foods can be added from recipes or
food labels, and nutrient intake can be graphed. The program is
completely menu-driven and there are no commands to learn.

otl 0.26 (Default branch)
otl 0.26 (Default branch)
04/08/2005 04:27 AM
otl is a Perl application that is a glorified
search and replace engine. The process is
customizable; the application can be used to
generate markup such as HTML, XML, etc. from a
text file with the user able to customize the
process to a substantial extent. While the program
is designed to be used to process outlines (e.g.
lecture notes, etc.) and generate nice HTML, it
could be used in other contexts, as well by just
defining a new set of rules for the substitution
process.
Changes:
In this version, nested lists are processed better, and there
is improved documentation in the HOWTO . A GNU autoconf
automake framework was added so install is more of a no-
brainer, a --pfile flag is now used to indicate a parameter
file, filename globbing is now dealt with, the parameter file
was modified so it specifies the file suffix to tag on output
file, diagnostic information that is written to stdout has been
trimmed, the project now checks to see if the file is already
present before overwriting, and a second script, "tag-
remove", was added.
g4u 2.1 (Default branch)
g4u 2.1 (Default branch)
06/22/2005 02:25 AM

g4u ("ghost for unix") is a boot-floppy/CD that allows one to easily
clone PC hard disks by using FTP. This is often done to deploy a
common setup on a number of PCs. The floppy/CD offers two functions:
it uploads the compressed image of a local hard disk to an FTP server,
and then it can retrieve that image via FTP, uncompress it, and write
it back to disk. Network configuration is fetched via DHCP. As the
hard disk is processed as an image, any filesystem and operating
system can be deployed using g4u. Easy cloning of local disks as well
as partitions is also supported.
License: BSD License (original)
Changes:
Serial drivers were added again for those people
that need serial console. Support for IT Express
and ATI IXP IDE and Promise SATA150 controllers
was added. Many bugfixes and enhancements were
taken from NetBSD-current, including EHCI-based
USB improvements. "dmesg" now hints at pressing
space/CR to scroll down.

engine. Developers can now manipulate the internal variables at run
time to create custom plugins. US ROMs are now auto-deteced, some bugs
were fixed, and support for big-endian CPUs was added. The program is
now mainly licensed under the GPL (some parts use the mBSD and zlib
license).
