08/11/2004 01:59 PM
TIME Magazine reviews Dell's
GPS Navigation System for Pocket PC (Dell or otherwise) and comes away
pretty happy, finding it "exceptionally good at certain things," like
rerouting directions when you miss a turn (an exceptionally handy
feature for absent minded drivers such as myself). One downside is the
all-or-nothing setup of the map data, though. You can either every
city and its area along your whole trip if you have the data, or just
the start and finish - there's no option for just the major
highways.
