JaxMe is a Java/XML binding framework based on SAX2. It consists of a
set of code generators that read an XML schema and generate code for
parsing conformant XML documents into corresponding Java objects,
saving those objects into a database or, vice versa, reading such Java
objects from a database and converting them into XML. JaxMe supports
namespaces, relational databases, and Tamino. JaxMe comes with an
integrated application framework and a generator for EJB entity beans
with BMP (bean managed persistence).

AqBanking is a modular and generic interface to
online banking tasks, financial file formats
(import/export) and bank/country/currency
information. It provides frontends for Qt, KDE,
GTK, and console. AqBanking uses backend plugins
to actually perform the online tasks. HBCI and
DTAUS discs are currently supported. AqBanking is
used by GnuCash, KMyMoney, and QBankManager.
Changes:
This version fixes some security related bugs, improves the
collaboration of im-/exporter plugins to automatically
determine the type of a data file, and allows GnuCash to
issue transfer orders under more circumstances than in
previous versions. Transaction retrieval now also works with
HBCI 2.2 in Pin/Tan mode. The AqHBCI-Debugger now
creates much better anonymized logs.

The SOPE package is an extensive set of frameworks (16 frameworks,
~1500 classes) which form a complete Web application server
environment. Besides the Apple WebObjects compatible appserver
extended with Zope concepts, it contains a large set of reusable
classes: XML processing (SAX, DOM, XML-RPC), MIME/IMAP4 processing,
LDAP connectivity, RDBMS connectivity, and iCalendar parsing. The
parts of the package can be used stand-alone (e.g. in Cocoa
applications) and do not require the appserver parts. For MacOSX
developers, the package includes SOPE:X, which contains special Xcode
and Cocoa support for SOPE.

Some minor issues in the WebDAV layer were fixed.
A plist parsing bug in the rule engine was
eliminated (required for OGo trunk), and the
configuration was improved.

GKrellM is a GTK-based stacked monitor program that charts SMP CPUs,
disks, load, active net interfaces, and internet connections. There
are also builtin monitors for memory and swap, file systems with
mount/umount feature, mailbox checking including POP3 and IMAP,
clock/calendar, laptop battery, sensors (temperatures, voltages, and
fans), and uptime. It has LEDs for the net monitors and an on/off
button and online timer for PPP. There is a GUI popup for
configuration, plugin extensions can be installed, and many themes are
available. It also features a client/server monitoring capability.

Openswan is an implementation of IPsec for the Linux operating system.
Is it a code fork of the FreeS/WAN project which has been terminated.
It
provides IPSEC (IP Security, which is both encryption and
authentication) kernel extensions and an IKE (Internet Key Exchange,
keying and encrypted routing daemon), as well as various rc scripts
and
documentation. It is known to interoperate with other IPSEC and IKE
systems already deployed by other vendors such as OpenBSD, Cisco, and

The DBI module enables your Perl applications to
access multiple database types transparently. You
can connect to MySQL, MSSQL, Oracle, Informix,
Sybase, ODBC, and other database systems without
having to know the different underlying interfaces
of each. The API defined by DBI will work on all
these database types and many more. You can
connect to multiple databases of different types
at the same time and easily move data between
them.

g4u ("ghost for unix") is a boot-floppy/CD that allows one to easily
clone PC hard disks by using FTP. This is often done to deploy a
common setup on a number of PCs. The floppy/CD offers two functions:
it uploads the compressed image of a local hard disk to an FTP server,
and then it can retrieve that image via FTP, uncompress it, and write
it back to disk. Network configuration is fetched via DHCP. As the
hard disk is processed as an image, any filesystem and operating
system can be deployed using g4u. Easy cloning of local disks as well
as partitions is also supported.

Gld is a standalone greylisting server for
Postfix. It listen on a TCP port and uses MySQL

CVS is a version control system, which allows you to keep old versions
of files (usually source code), keep a log of who, when, and why
changes occurred, etc., like RCS or SCCS. Unlike the simpler systems,
CVS does not just operate on one file at a time or one directory at a
time, but operates on hierarchical collections of directories
consisting of version controlled files. CVS helps to manage releases
and to control the concurrent editing of source files among multiple
authors. CVS allows triggers to enable/log/control various operations
and works well over a wide area network.

CVS client and server. An intermittent assertion
failure on checkout was fixed. A final fix for the

OSS provides sound card drivers for most popular sound cards under
Linux, *BSD, Solaris, UnixWare, OpenServer, AIX, HPUX, LynxOS,
VxWorks, and Tru64. These drivers support digital audio, MIDI,
synthesizers, and mixers found on sound cards. These sound drivers
comply with the Open Sound System API specification. OSS provides a
user-friendly GUI which makes the installation of sound drivers and

XC-AST analyzes data about call queues maintained
by an Asterisk PBX. After selecting one or more
queues, it provides information on agent logon and
logoff, taken calls, and lost calls in formatted
reports. It is designed to be used for monitoring
call centers that require real-time activity reports.

R is a language and environment for statistical computing and
graphics. It is similar to S, which was developed at Bell Laboratories
by John Chambers et al. It provides a wide variety of statistical and
graphical techniques (linear and nonlinear modelling, statistical
tests, time series analysis, classification, clustering, etc.). R is
designed as a true computer language with control-flow constructions
for iteration and alternation, and it allows users to add additional
functionality by defining new functions. For computationally intensive
tasks, Fortran and C code can be linked and called at run time.
