Japanese school uniform maker Ogo-Sangyo Company has released their newest advancement in uniform technology: GPS-enabled blazers. The GPS terminals, located inside the uniforms, can communicate back to parents (or potential kidnappers, naturally) the location of their children, allowing them to know exactly how many stops at the okashiya they made on their way home. The terminals are built by Secom, whose GPS devices showed up in similarly-intended GPS satchels.

Yahoo started to win some extra fans yesterday afternoon by announcing they were going to fully support Firefox on all their web offerings. If true, this would be great, since an increasing number of hard core internet users now rely almost exclusively on Firefox, and there's nothing more annoying than websites and services that force you to go back to IE. However, Yahoo quickly backtracked and claimed that actually, when they said they would fully support Firefox they meant they wouldn't fully support Firefox, though it's a nice idea.

If you really need to have that extra edge when you play, there's a bizarre new "Focus Trainer" from SportsLink that's supposed to improve concentration and focus before atheletic activity and really get you into "The Zone". It sounds more like a trip to the Laserium if you ask us:

First, find a nice quiet place where you won't be bothered. Put the glasses and headphones on and pick a session. You can choose from 15 of them, ranging from "relaxed calmness" to "anxiety release." Press Start and wait. After a 10-second countdown, you hear a weird noise like a soothing low feedback. It gets louder and then softer, stunted a bit and then drawn out. Then the lights kick in. There are six small, flashing lights that blink furiously on the top rim of the glasses. Shut your eyes, take some deep breaths, and the effect is really strange.
