Some of the pages were restored because of Scientology's overreaching ... and you are now notified if a result is removed because of a cease and desist order, which you can read for yourself on Chilling Effects (infoAnarchy: Google Does the Right Thing (Finally)). Well, Scientology is up to it again, this time going after the Internet Archive and I don't think the Archive is doing a good job defending itself. Harmon Leon is a guy who specialises in infiltrating odd places through impersonation, then writing hilarious accounts of his deeds. His infiltration of the Church of Scientology's LA Celebrity Center is a classic:

[W]e go to a fancy, roped-off office on the first floor. There's a large desk, a book shelf, and a lot of pictures of boats on the wall.

"And this is L. Ron Hubbard's office."

"The actual office used by L. Ron Hubbard?" This is like being in Jesus' room.

"No. Each Scientology center has an office for L. Ron Hubbard, decorated in a way he would like it."

"Oh, so the office was used when he was visiting, ya?"

"No. He died before this hotel was refurbished."

Someone should mention to this lady that dead guys don't need offices. Especially an office built for a dead guy after the dead guy is dead.

GadgetMadness reviews May Flash's simple GameBoy Advance A/V Adapter. Just put the cartridge into your player, plug your nearest video-producing device's RCA jacks into the cartridge, and have at it. Brightness, contrast and volume are controlled using the GameBoy's buttons, as well as hue and saturation. A major let down for GadgetMadness was the fact that the unit requires you to use headphones plugged into the cartridge to hear the sound passing through it—it's unable to play the sound through the unit's speakers. Of course, the unit is only a pass-through itself, so you'll have to be carrying a battery-powered set-top DVD player in your backpack for this to be of any good, but it allows you to use your GameBoy's screen for nearly any purpose you can find around the house. Probably not a bad way to go for some hacky projects, but not for mobile video.
