S. Lasky reviews Nextel's newest Push To Talk service called
'NextMail,' a sort of "Push To Email" service that allows subscribers
to record short voice clips with their phone that are then emailed to
an individual as a Windows Media file (or optional MP3). It looks
pretty interesting, if a little convoluted (but what cellular
application isn't?)
The NextMail service is available to most Nextel subscribers,
depending on service plan.

problems connecting to Wi-Fi. Unfortunately, the response is: "Tough.
Wait it out." "This behavior is expected," says a terse article in
Microsoft's Knowledge Base. "You must wait up to three minutes for the
network configuration to complete." There's no fix, no patch, no
workaround. "The wireless network card driver may not respond
immediately when Windows XP initializes the network components and
associates the wireless network card driver," says the article. "When

a set of three clips for attaching an iPod shuffle to a belt, a piece
of clothing, a backpack or just about any place else. The collection
features a belt clip, a gripper clip for clamping it to a sleeve or
other area of clothing and a push pin clip that fastens it almost
anywhere. All three match the shuffle's appearance and are made of
white ABS plastic, stainless steel and galvanized steel. PodBuddy
expects to ship The Clips in March for US$19.99.
New Klaus Nomi biopic
Klaus Nomi was an operatic new wave singer, just beginning to make his
mark in the New York City avant-garde scene when he became an early
AIDS casualty in 1983. He, along with Joey Arias, sang backup for
David Bowie on Saturday Night Live. He also performed in the film
"Urgh! A Music War" which also featured the likes of The Police, Oingo
Boingo, Gary Numan, Devo, The Dead Kennedys, The Cramps, and UB40.
