Libchipcard is a C/C++ framework for easy access to
chipcards/smartcards via chip card terminals/readers. It uses the
CTAPI library provided by the manufacturer of the reader and provides
a filesystem on memory chip cards. It works under Linux, FreeBSD,
OpenBSD, and Windows, and has been tested with Towitoko and Kobil
readers even in parallel.
Changes:
This release supports OS-dependant settings in
driver desciption files, so Cyberjack on Mac OS X
sould work out of the box now. Support for
new-style IFD drivers (using the newer PC/SC API)
has been added. Libchipcard2 now works with the
free Generic CCID driver.
