First announced in January 2004, Apple's iBook Logic Board Replacement program has been extended until March 18. The program covers specific iBook models manufactured between May 2002 and April 2003; many of those computers have experienced logic board component failures that led to video display problems. iBooks with serial numbers in the UV117XXXXXX to UV342XXXXXX range are covered by this program, which allows owners of affected computers to send them to an Apple repair center for free servicing. Visit the program's FAQ page for more information.
