Linux Debug 0.0.20a (Default branch)
04/19/2005 09:12 AMLinux Debug is a functional clone of the old DOS debug.com
for x86 linux. Functions include the ability to alter/examine
memory and registers, set/clear breakpoints, step into and
trace over, symmetric symbolic disassembler, and symbolic
assembler. It has a simplified UI, and can work with bin and
elf format files. Symbolic functions work only if debug
symbols available in the file header. It features a NASM-
compatible syntax for both disassembler and single line
assembler.

05/04/2004 12:15 PMOrangeWare has released version 3.0 of their
802.11a/
b/g Wireless Driver for Mac, which works with over 20 wireless
networking cards, except Apple's AirPort. The new version adds "Super
G" and "Turbo Super G" modes that offer speeds up to twice or almost
three times as fast, respectively, as AirPort Extreme, according to
the company. Version 3.0 also adds a "Turbo A" mode that can be used
when accessing 802.11a networks. You can download the driver from the
OrangeWare Web site, which also lists all the compatible third party
wireless cards. The driver will work for ten minutes before you have
to pay the US$15 license.

Kernel Mode Linux 2.4.30_001 (For Linux
2.4 branch)
04/05/2005 11:56 AM
Kernel Mode Linux is a technology which enables
the execution of user programs in a kernel mode.
In Kernel Mode Linux, user programs can access
kernel address space directly. Unlike kernel
modules, user programs are executed as ordinary
processes (except for their privilege level), so
scheduling and paging are performed as usual.
Although it seems dangerous, the safety of the
kernel can be ensured through such methods as
static type checking, software fault isolation,
and so forth.
Changes:
This version was merged with the 2.4.30 Linux
kernel.

silly things like that. I spent most of a weekend tampering with it a
while ago and got a Debian system to boot. Yay. Then I setup
networking and the kernel on the host box decided to panic. Oops. So,

ATA over Ethernet driver 10 (For Linux

ATA over Ethernet driver 10 (For Linux
2.6 branch)
04/11/2005 05:14 PM
This driver allows the Linux kernel to use the ATA over Ethernet (AoE)
network protocol. Using AoE, a Linux system can use AoE block devices
like EtherDrive (R) storage blades. The block devices appear as local
device nodes (e.g. /dev/etherd/e0.0).
Changes:
A bugfix makes the driver record the new MAC address when a new
EtherDrive blade is inserted into the same shelf and slot from which a
previous blade has been removed. The firmware version of each aoe
device is now visible through a "fwver" file in sysfs.
