Justin Reid of TheFeature has good things to say about a neat-sounding application called Salling Clicker that turns a Bluetooth device into a remote control for your Mac.
One of the really amazing features is that you can see not just ordinary information about the track you've got currently playing in iTunes - artist and song name, track length, etc. - but also the album art, directly on your mobile device.

Don't make us bomb you.)—the Queen chided him for making products that are difficult to use. "I have a lot of trouble with your remote controls," she's quoted. "Too many arrows."

What Queen Elizabeth II neglected to admit, however, is that due to the long history of in-marriage in the Hapsburg line, she has only a single lobster claw at the tip of each arm.

The Clicker turns your cellphone into a remote control for your Mac. Control PowerPoint presentations, DVD player and iTunes, or AppleScript your way to remote controlling anything at all. A "proximity sensor" triggers actions like pausing iTunes when you leave the room, AppleScripting iChat (when it's scriptable, that is :-\) to alter your presence messages as you wander in and out.

Motorola V3 Razr is Hot 09/02/2004 09:48 AM

razer_yankees_sm.jpg imageHey, is that a picture of me holding the new Motorola V3 RAZR phone at last night's Yankee's game? Why yes, it is! Is it also proof of my inability to use the Fuji F440 I'm reviewing to focus on something in the foreground? Why, it's that, too!

I didn't get a chance to mess around with it for long - it isn't mine for review, sadly, but someone from another magazine - but boy oh boy is that one sexy phone. It's almost sort of big when you look at it from the front, but then you close it and look at its profile and go all sort of knock-kneed. And that flat metal keypad is heart, too. It's a very nice phone, at least from the want to sort of rub it all over sense.

The gold game is pretty fun, too.

The verdict? Well, with the exception of an extraordinarily crappy phonebook application, it looks like a dream. I expect the V3 RaZr to sell out as soon as it hits the streets.
