While StuffIt Standard lacks ArchiveSearch, Secure Delete, ArchiveAssistant and other functions found only in the Deluxe edition, this release does feature many of the improvements found in its counterpart, including speed increases, optimization for dual-processor Macs, the ability to save archives directly to an FTP server or a CD or DVD, a redesigned interface and more. Owners of older versions of StuffIt can upgrade for US$19.99, or move to the Deluxe edition for $29.99, while full copies are $49.99. A 30-day demo is available and Mac OS X v10.3 is required.
