NewsFactor - Seeking an edge in the entry-level computing system space, IBM (NYSE: IBM) has unveiled a Linux-based server using the company's Power5 processors. The OpenPower 720 product is being touted as an alternative to basic Unix systems from HP (NYSE: HPQ) and Sun.
