The keynote will take place on Tuesday, August 31 at 10:00 a.m. CET at the Palais des Congrès. Apple's senior vice-president of worldwide marketing, Phil Schiller, took a cue from his boss, CEO Steve Jobs, as he unveiled one more thing at the end of his keynote to kick off this week's Apple Expo in Paris: a iMac G5 that includes the entire system inside a 17- or 20-inch LCD screen. Continuing the all-in-one theme that started with the original CRT iMac, the G5 edition features a new industrial design that complements Apple's recently refreshed Cinema Displays. Schiller said that the new iMacs will be available in mid-September.

  2. He then searches in the address book for Paris and Birthdays comming up
  3. He then goes to mail his search brings up "Vacation 8/4 to 8/7" and "Half-Dome". The Expo ends 8/4(ship date?), and the half-dome is a reference to the current iMac.
  4. Finally he searches using the menu bar for Paris and half-dome, and notes that it only comes up with places.

Apple may not have provided a live Webcast of Apple Vice President of Worldwide Product Marketing Phil Schiller's keynote address to attendees of this year's Apple Expo 2004 in Paris, France, but the company has posted a link to from its QuickTime home page. Schiller gave a state of the union address recounting Apple's success with its iTunes Music Store, its plans for Mac OS X v10.4, codenamed "Tiger," and offered users the first look at Apple's new iMac G5.
