It's Foe Romeo day here at Marcs Voice

It's Foe Romeo day here at Marcs Voice 01/27/2004 03:31 AM

I've decided that whenever I make a mistake in one of my posts, the abused person gets honorary status - as 'Person of teh day" - for that day.

Today that person is Foe Romeo (otherwise known as Fiona) who I misquoted or mis-understood yesterday.  It turns out Fiona DOES support centralized repositories of FOAF files - to make it usable by meer humans.

What I read was a post from Jan. 3rd - while Cory's original post - was based upon a post Fiona made on Jan. 26thOooops - my bad.  Apparently I clicked on the wrong link.I hate it when that happens.

I never click on BoingBoing's 'Link' button - so I'm often sent to the wrong place.

Ain't blogging fun?

So apologies to Fiona - see yah in San Diego!

Debora Iyall -- artist, Native American cultural activist, and former front-woman for new wave band Romeo Void-- is selling this linocut on eBay to benefit People for the American Way. She says:
"[I wanted] to visually address recent events and the role of the Supreme Court. Where have all our freedoms gone? The foundation of our nation is based on broken treaties. A stack of money energizes the book of law. Apache helicopters circle overhead as the Supreme Court loiters around a river of death, the Court which allowed George W. Bush to assume the office of President of the United States of America in 2000. A soldier strides toward battlefield while a woman pulls a cart of produce. Hummers roll by. Mortar rounds flank the scene and a bear witnesses."
