Smartphone
11/13/2003 01:50 AMApparently Samsung's new i600 Smartphone, which Verizon just
introduced on Monday, will work with SDIO expansion cards. This means
you'll be able to easily add WiFi, Bluetooth, or GPS to the phone.
This might not sound like a big deal at first, but you'd be surprised
at how much of a hassle it is to find a cellphone that can have WiFi
added to it. Read...

Samsung's i600 Smartphone out today
11/10/2003 11:04 PMNot that this news is taking anyone by surprise, but Verizon
officially started offering Samsung's i600 Smartphone today. The
SCH-i600 (or the SPH-i600, believe it or not Microsoft's press release
and Verizon's website actually differ on what it's called) is the
second cellphone running Microsoft's Smartphone operating system to
become available in the US, and has a 65,000 color screen, a 200MHz
processor, 32MB of RAM, but no built-in digital camera or Bluetooth.

Sprint PCS Launches Samsung i600
Sprint PCS Launches Samsung i600
09/22/2004 01:58 PM
Sprint has officially unveiled the Samsung i600
smartphone, a Windows Mobile 2003 clamshell (the first Windows Mobile
unit for Sprint PCS, they say). Their website has it listing for $470
and it should be in stores next month. This is essentially the same
phone released last year by Verizon, so don't expect a whole lot to be
different than that (or any other Windows Mobile unit, really).

Monday in Chicago
07/13/2004 10:08 AM My wife and I arrived in Chicago yesterday afternoon, prepared with
suggestions from y'all about what to see and do. Thanks! It was a
beautiful day, so we set out down Michigan and walked along the lake
shore. It is an odd and beautiful vista to see the skyscrapers hanging
like a curtain behind the strip of beach. Then we walked through the
Navy Pier, the mall-arcade-amusement park where I drank something blue
and sugary. We continued along the shore and then headed back to the
hotel. Don't hate us, but we passed a movie theater and on an...

02/01/2005 10:11 PM
I had a week of Mondays last week and Friday had an added bonus of
being both Friday and Monday at the same time due to the holiday on
Thursday. From Monday onward, I seemed to fumble everything from the
complex to the simple. I patched the system a bunch of the CPAN sites
run on, as well as this blog, only to have it come up perfectly but be
unable to log in to the system because sshd decided it didn't want to
run so I have to wait until Ben can get to the console and start it
for me, hopefully soon. I spent the weekend away from computers to try
and change my system karma. :)
I've scanned all the pictures from Tunisia and have been sifting
through them and whenever sshd comes back online, I'll put them up on
the system.
