Apple has just announced the $129 WiFi Express, a WiFi appliance in an
AC-adapter form-factor. It has an Ethernet jack, a stereo mini-jack
and a USB print-server so that you can stream audio, USB and packets
to anything in range of your WiFi base-station, at 802.11g speed.

held Alacritus for approximately $11 million in cash. Alacritus'
Virtual Tape Library (VTL) software makes disks emulate tape,
providing high performance for large-scale backup environments without
disrupting established tape backups. In December 2004, NetApp
announced a solution that combined Alacritus VTL with NetApp NearStore
and FAS storage systems. The acquisition is expected to close by the
end of the fourth fiscal quarter of 2005.
