Odessa, Ukraine-based BeLight Software on Friday released Ma il Factory, a new utility that enables you to take data from Address Book, Entourage, Eudora and Now Contact to produce professional-looking address labels and envelopes. Mail Factory sports dozens of ready-made designs and also includes more than 500 pieces of clip art. System requirements call for Mac OS X v10.2 or later. Stone Design announced on Wednesday new versions of Create, its three-in-one illustration, page layout and web authoring software, and PStill, its application for converting PostScript files to PDFs, shrinking and combining PDFs and more. In addition, the company has released StampInStone 2.6, the new version of the tool for watermarking PDFs, and TrueBlue 2.2, an update to a TrueType/OpenType to PostScript Type 1 font converter. All four are free upgrades for existing users.

The upgrades offer the addition of G3 curvature continuous fillets to the Round tool; sketch rendering, which renders designs in such styles as cartoon, color wash, pencil and ink for use in presentations; keyframe animation for bringing a product to life or showing how it's assembled; performance enhancements in many tools and the rendering engine; and more. Both applications run in Mac OS X, although Evoqe doesn't note the minimum version required; the company asks that you go through its network of resellers or contact them for sales information.
