MantaRay 1.6 includes new delivery algorithms that enforce stricter “once and only once” guaranteed delivery in queues and durable topic subscribers. The new algorithms also improved MantaRay's persistency. In order to better align MantaRay with the JMS specification, the receiver can now determine the message acknowledgment mode. A new persistency mechanism was implemented in this release so that recovery of persistent files is now faster and more stable. In addition, the new persistency takes less disk space and when possible it reduces the size of the persistent file. An infrastructure was created for different persistency implementations other then file persistency. Documentation was modified in the release as well - a new FAQ document was added to the documentation package and the "User Guide" and "Getting Started" documents were modified according to your input. Mantaray is A fully distributed peer-to-peer serverless communication and messaging solution. The MantaRay console gives an overview and monitors all the MantaRay Layers in the system. This console monitors Mantaray layers version 1.4 or higher. The MantaRay console is now stable after undergoing rigid QA testing. In addition, console performance was improved so that it now reacts faster to changes in the system and displays these changes at greater speed. This release includes the following features: 1) A topology view of all the MantaRay layers. 2) The status of each layer – either ‘Responding’ or ‘Not Responding’. 3) The layer’s type (at the moment the type existing are Console and Agent) and the layer’s name. 4) The connections existing between the MantaRay layers. A connection can either be of type TCP or SSL. 5) The service participations of each MantaRay layer. When you right click on a MantaRay layer icon you can enter ‘services’ folder that lists all the produced and consumed services by the layer. 6) The statistic of each MantaRay layer. When you right click on a MantaRay layer icon you can enter ‘statistics’ folder that provides the layer’s statistic.
