I've been a fan of ScriptLogic's tools for quite some time (see the 02/09/04 newsletter, linked below, for my most recent thoughts). This week the company released the latest version (5.5) of its Desktop Authority, as part of its ScriptLogic Enterprise desktop administration software, and I'm happy to say that the product just seems to get better and better.

The software includes real-time correction features, dust and scratch removal, auto sharpening, simple selective color correction, adaptive color restoration and other features. All the bundles include a year of FileMaker Maintenance and a discounted price over buying the components separately. The US$1,995 Small Team Bundle includes four licenses for FileMaker Pro 7 and a FileMaker Server 7 license; the $3,489 FileMaker Department Bundle includes 10 licenses for FileMaker Pro 7 and a FileMaker Server 7 license; and the $4,989 Extended Team Bundle includes 10 licenses for FileMaker Pro 7 and a FileMaker Server 7 Advanced license, with support for up to 100 remote Web connections.
