TRU Employee sends along a few more details on the upcoming Silver Darth Vader figure from Toys "R" Us. The warehouses are expected to get the figures in stock between October 10th and 16th. There are 7000 on order for that date. Hopefully the stores will be getting them in around then, too, but no updates on that yet. No news on specifically what the promotion will be either yet.

Confirmed! The Silver Darth Vader figure that recently showed up online will be a Toys R Us exclusive this fall. It is now listed in the computer as "EX Silve Vader" and has a retail value of $9.99. The cost is a penny similar to the other silver/giveaway figures, R2-D2 and Clone Trooper. For those interested, the SKN number is 532350. No order quantities or dates yet.

Here are a few details on Target's exclusive "Lava Vader" from "Metalzombie". I work for a Target DC, and on Sunday we had about four skid loads of the Target exclusive Darth Vader's roll in. My buddy and me popped a case open, and they look incredibly sweet. They come packaged in a clear plastic case, like the vintage OTC ones, with Star Wars: Revenge Of The Sith on the back. The bottom says Target Exclusive, with a red picture of Vader to the left, and the sticker across the top simply says "Darth Vader".

In what has to be the last of the delays we've seen for the Mastercard exclusive Gentle Giants Darth Vader mini-bust, it looks like the day holders of the Galactic Rewards Mastercards have to wait at least a couple more weeks before they can pony up 7,500 points for a Vader. The often delayed "order date" has been moved again, this time to "mid-November". If you have the card, you can check on the progress of this yourself at galacticrewards.com. Today's POTF2 European Photo Archive update continues with two Jedis: Darth Vader and Ben (Obi-Wan) Kenobi. The design of European cards moved with the Flashback line to two similar but different cards. One for North Europe countries with 4 languages (English, German, French and Dutch) and the second one for South Europe countries with 4 languages too (German, French, Spanish and Italian). It meaned also that it was the end of the Italian cards. Rebelscum presents for the moment only the South Europe cards.

Today's Photo Archives update is the first of several exclusives that were available at last weekend's debut of Revenge of the Sith toys. The Target exclusive Darth Vader (Lava Reflection) may be just a simple repaint of an older figure, but with the frenzy felt from Midnight Madness, fans flocked to their local stores to get their hands on this collectors edition. Even if he does remind me of Azrael, this just goes to show that Star Wars fans love Vader!
