I was surprised to learn that a small Guantanamo-style
detention center run by the Wackenhut corporation is in place mere

non-descript warehouse somewhere in Springfield Gardens, Queens. I
find it disturbing and distressing, especially now that they've gone
on hunger strike, which is the only reason that I've learned that they
are there.
