Photo Gallery ScriptPhoto Gallery Script 12/03/2002 11:46 AM So, I really didn't want to have to make thumbnails for any of my images. I was determined to figure out a way to make thumbnails on the fly. I did find out how to do that, but it really is way too slow, and they have to be re-generated every time you view the page. So what I did was say "if the thumbnail is not there, create it". So no thumbnails are created on the fly, per se, but they are once. So if you happen to be the first person to one of my galleries, it will automatically create the thumbnails for you. Everyone else, just uses the version that you triggered to be created. This also allows me to just remove an image from the directory, and bam its gone from the listing. Pretty neat actually. I will be fixing a few bugs in the program, and adding a few new features.
