today, introducing three new models into its consumer CoolPix line:
the CoolPix 8800, an 8-megapixel, 10x zoom model with a vibration
reduction system (a first for the CoolPix line); the CoolPix 8400, an
8-megapixel camera with a wide-angle lens and the fetal alcohol
chassis design; and the CoolPix 4800, a 4-megapixel, 8.3x optical
point-and-shoot model.
Nikon also mentioned a new F-series film SLR - the F6 - if you
still like to rock the nitrates.

projector weights 3.5 pounds, sports 1500 lumens brightness, 900:1
contrast ratio, and features 1024 x 768 pixel (XGA) native resolution.
The projector includes DVI, RGB 15-pin, composite video and S-Video
input, and works with NTSC, PAL and SECAM video signals. It's Mac and
PC compatible and includes an infrared remote control that also
incorporates a laser pointer. The DP 1015 is available now for
US$1,999.

the DP 820, will be available in January for US$999.99. The device
features a 2000:1 contrast ratio, 1600 ANSI lumens, 800 x 600
resolution, support for all global video standards and more. It weighs
4.5 pounds and includes S-Video and composite video ports as well as a
15-pin D-SUB connector for a VGA analog RGB monitor. The DP 820 ships
with necessary cables, a carrying case and a remote control that
doubles as a laser pointer.

The Plug-n-Play device features MultiMedia Card (MMC) and Secure
Digital Card (SD) readers. It supports USB 2.0 (and is backwards
compatible with USB 1.1). The compact device is also hot swappable,
allowing PC storage cards to be easily replaced without having to
restart the computer. The Pocket Card Reader is PC- and

optical model that uses rechargeable batteries which recharge when the
mouse is returned to its holding tray. The keyboard sports
programmable keys that can be used to access commonly used
applications like e-mail or multimedia software. Iogear's RF Wireless
Keyboard/Mouse Combo is priced at US$59.95 and is shipping now. The

multi-sync analog displays. Users can also share USB-based peripherals
like scanners, printers and external hard drives. The switch also
features audio input and output that lets computers share a single
microphone and set of speakers.
