Realmac Software on Wednesday released RapidWeaver 3.0.2, an update to its Web design application that includes a number of performance improvements. Changes found in this upgrade include better export to .Mac accounts, enhanced error handling when loading files or exporting a Web site, a working find panel, correct conversion of incompatible file names when using the photo plug-in and auto-detection of RSS feeds in Firefox and the OS X v10.4 version of Safari, when it's released, a localization option for blog updates and more. This is a free update for registered users. The full software is US$34.95 and requires Mac OS X v10.3.

Among the new themes are ones based on Apple's new Mac mini and iPod shuffle hardware, as well as a switcher theme that employs a Java script which allows visitors to choose between two skins. British developer Realmac Software announced on Monday the release of RapidWeaver 2.2. The new version of its Web design tool adds support for framed sites, Flash, styled content, Cascade Style Sheets (CSS) menus and more. In addition, RapidWeaver 2.2 offers bug fixes and four new CSS themes. This is a free upgrade for owners of version 2.0 or higher, while new users pay US$29.95 for a license. A demo that places watermarks over all buttons until registered is available for download from the Realmac Software Web site. RapidWeaver 2.2 requires Mac OS X v10.3 or higher, Safari and 5MB hard drive space.
