The BBC reports that Indian Railways will be offering their luxury passengers internet access as soon as June 30th. Internet will be accessed both via Wi-Fi and from a kiosk with two PCs located on it. Indian Railways has worked to extensivly computerize most of their operations. While access to the internet will be free at first, there are plans to start charging after enough time has passed to allow passengers to become accustomed to having internet access while riding the rails.
