The embodiment of "easy to learn, difficult to master" gameplay, the long-running series in Japan finally crossed the Pacific last year, much to the chagrin of fans of wussy easy games. Nintendo has now followed up the recent announcement of a GameCube Fire Emblem title with a teaser for a new GBA title. My sources in Japan tell me that this new title will feature a choice of two advanced classes when you promote a character, along with branching mission choice. There may be some cause for alarm for non-wuss tacticians, as it also appears you'll be able to replay completed battles to toughen up your characters. Not that a game with levelling up as a viable master strategy can't be enjoyable, it's just that Fire Emblem was great without it. See below for the plot's premise and a link to the teaser site.
