AT&T Wireless Ogo to Be Released Today?
AT&T Wireless Ogo to Be Released Today?
09/15/2004 07:46 AMDon't ask me - ask AT&T (or this reader, who sent me this tip).
Everything but the launch date does jibe with what I've heard, so who
knows?
I just talked to a *very* helpful customer care
representative at AT&T, who gave me a lot of information about the new
"ogo"
Here is everything she told me:
It will cost 17.99 mo, but there is a $3/mo introductory offer (she
didn't say how long the offer was good for), there will be an
activation fee of $19.99, and the price of the unit is $129.99, with a
$30 rebate at launch. She read me the capabilities of the unit, which
included unlimited domestic text messaging (didn't know if the unit
would have its own phone number) with premium and international SMS
available for a fee, unlimited instant messaging, and "unlimited
access to 1 premium portal" (AOM, MSN, Yahoo), as well as support for
"some" other email providers. She couldn't tell me what all that
included, or if it included your own IMAP/POP3 server. In the most
notable news, she told me that the launch date is tomorrow, September
15!!

moregroupware 0.6.9 has been released
today
10/31/2003 07:24 PMWeb-based groupware written in PHP4. Including modules like webmail,
notes, todo, contacts, project management, calendar and others. The
new release features a lot of changes, some of them have fundamental
character. There have been bug fixes done to all areas of the
application, and a lot of new features have been added.
The webmail client has now mail filters and flags, comes with inline
display of OOo Writer files and can export to OOo Writer and MS Word.
Calendar2 has group calendars now. The projects module has been
rewritten completely (see below for the catch).
Among the fundamental changes are a new setup, changed module
installation and upgrade handling, and a new rights system. This
release comes split into parts for the first time, allowing easier
upgrades to the documentation and more security.
Upgrade instructions are available as an appendix to the manual (as
usual). There is a catch, though: The projects module has been changed
radically, so if you use it and have live data in it, make sure to try
the new version in a seperate setup first, to see what has changed.
Future versions will not have such radical changes and upgrades will
be a lot easier from now on, as we now upgrade the database
automatically and module installation and deinstallation are easier
than ever!
