Kotobukiya Boba Fett

Kotobukiya Boba Fett 06/08/2004 10:10 PM

Just released in Japan, a new release in Dark Horse's import program of the award-winning Kotobukiya large vinyl Star Wars figures, this one is likely to prove to be one of the most popular releases of all. Certainly Boba Fett is the favorite of Star Wars fans everywhere, and the fantastic craftsmanship and attention to detail that are lavished on this 13" figure make it one of the coolest collectibles available. Exuding menace, Boba is one bad dude! Look for this to arrive on September 15, packaged in a color window box, for a price of $99.99.

Subway Sandwiches: "Warum sind die
Amis so fett?"

That would be "Why are the Yanks so fat?" to you and I. This was the slogan used in Germany for a recent Subway/Super Size Me joint advertising campaign. Accompanying the advert was a rounded looking image (full size) of the Statue of Liberty carrying burgers and fries. Did Subway go too far in this campaign, or were they unfairly vilified for their jest?
