T_Stowaway_BT_Open_S.jpg ImageBrighthand's Ed Hardy is now my forsworn enemy. See, Stowaway sent me one of their new folding Bluetooth Keyboards for review, but thanks to the indolent slime slurping shit-for-brains that helm our local FedEx hub, I got to bumble around Queens ("Like Brooklyn, But Norther") trying to track down a counterfactually extant package while Hardy got to fiddle around with his special new dandypants wireless keyboard. Hates him. Hurts him. Then the recreant shit swizzle had the nerve to only sort of like it, calling it "only marginally better" than the infrared version.

Curse your turtleneck, Ed Hardy. Your beard will not save you this time.

Apple's keyboard is the winner, but not by a lot. The MacAlly keyboard really falls short without the regular arrow keys, and the scroll wheel isn't terribly useful. By Tito Jankowski (The Mac Mind via MyAppleMenu)

AIRlok upgrade increases number of load balanced uplinks, adds multi-carrier diversity, and enables redundant high availability configurations. Lok Technology, the industry’s leading provider of Integrated Link Management appliances for Wireless Internet Service Providers, today announced immediate availability of AIRlok Link Controller. The Link Controller enables a provider to dynamically increase the number of uplink / down link connections to the Internet in order to increase the available bandwidth. It also enhances the provider’s ability to maintain service levels (SLAs) by providing alternate routing connections to multiple carriers through a single AIRlok. Prior to introducing the Link Controller, service providers had to purchase costly load balancing equipment or create multiple infrastructure stacks when adding bandwidth or implementing route diversity to their service delivery infrastructure. VKB-nightshot.jpg imageI guess David Ciccone really wants you to read this review of the iTECH Bluetooth Virtual Keyboard, since he's sent it to me four times across two different email addresses (perseverance is the key, kids!) He's got a full-blown crush on the thing—if there were an HTML entity for rendering little flowers around something's name I think he'd use it—but I think I will remain a bit more tempered until I have a chance to play with one myself. As David says in his review, the angle of attack is important in a device like this, which is exactly the sort of thing you may not have much control over in situations where you'd want to use it. Still, undeniably dorky cool.
