Screenshot PHPoto is a photo gallery system for the Web. All client-side markup is semantically correct XHTML and styled with valid CSS. Installation and gallery administration are very easy through the Web-based interface. Other features include multiple albums, uploading of pictures, automatic thumbnailing, photo captions, and ADOdb database abstraction.
Changes:
This releases fixes a few usability bugs and introduces a feature that preserves line breaks in album and picture descriptions by converting them to HTML tags for output. PHPoto is now officially tested and developed in a PHP 5 environment, though it will continue to be compatible with PHP 4 for a long while to come.

PHPoto 0.5.0-pre-3 released

PHPoto 0.5.0-pre-3 released 06/28/2004 06:10 PM
PHPoto generates dynamic picture galleries on the Web using a PHP/MySQL backend. Features include multiple albums, file upload, automatic thumbnailing, captions, web-based administration panel, and an easy-to-use web-based installer. Added a new feature: thumbnail regeneration! This will allow administrators to normalize the size of thumbnails in an album if they choose to change the album's max thumbnail size. Thumbnails will be regenerated to fit in the new size. This version also include MANY user interface enhancements from all previous versions. This makes PHPoto prettier to look at at and most important, easier to use. Also, a few SQL queries are now better-protected against SQL injection attacks. PHPoto 0.5 should be *extremely stable* now. The only reason it is labeled "pre" is so that it will be more widely tested (so we can make absolutely sure everything is working) before the final release. This latest release can be found here: https://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=102208&package_ id=121276 Thanks for using PHPoto! David Bindel Head Developer
