Private Line Demand Increases Even as
Prices Fall, says Insight Research
09/15/2004 02:12 AM
Despite increasing enterprise demand for bandwidth, the private line service market will see revenue decline by the close of 2004, according to a new market research study from The Insight Research Corporation. The sector’s revenue decline is a consequence of falling prices across all line speeds and segments. A private line is a dedicated non-switched circuit or communications channel that is leased for a specified period. This channel provides a private and direct connection between at least two sites, and is typically used by large enterprise data centers to connect to the Internet. [PRWEB Sep 15, 2004]

These images were taken with the 1-megapixel camera that's in Nokia's new 7610 handset. Get a 3x optical zoom and another megapixel or so in there and I think we can kiss our sidearm cameras goodbye.

Oh, and Nokia hired British fashion photographer Rankin to take pictures of Cottingley-like fairies with the 7610, giving them the perfect cover story to put pictures of nearly naked ladies all over their otherwise stodgy site.

Because the new Mac operating system coexists so peacefully with Windows machines on a network, handles email and web duties with ease and features standard productivity software like Microsoft Office, there is often no technical reason users and corporations couldn't switch. Add to the equation that OS X has so far remained unaffected by the security...
