Abuse Photos Were Digital

Abuse Photos Were Digital 05/07/2004 07:04 PM

Di gital cameras are changing how Iraq war is perceived: How would this have been different if they were traditional? Would it have played out differently? Traditional photos can get lost, aren't instantly reproducable, and have to be physically transported. Would this situation not have come to light if that were the case?

...The New Yorker confirmed the photos were shot with a digital camera, though it did not disclose the source.

SEALs sue over "abuse" photos 12/29/2004 06:29 PM

The photographs predate the Abu Ghraib scandal by nearly a year and suggest that abusive treatment of prisoners was a problem even among SEALs, some of the military's highest caliber troops.
