Video Game Controllers That Let You Play
Dirty

Video Game Controllers That Let You Play
Dirty
11/06/2003 04:10 AM
It's pretty common in many (though certainly not all) sports for players to go an extra step or two to push an opposing team when they're down. Maybe hit an opponent a little extra hard or try to add an extra shove when a ref isn't looking. It seems that some dirty tricks come naturally in many sports - but not in video games until now. There's a new video game controller out there that will let you momentar ily take control of your opponents controller. Sometimes it gives you full control, and others it just messes up their controller altogether. Consider it the video game version of an extra shove.

Cordless Mouse
09/01/2004 03:18 PM
Logitech on Wednesday introduced the MX 1000 Laser Cordless Mouse. The company bills is as "the world's first laser mouse," since the mouse uses laser illumination and tracking. What's more, it uses "Fast RF" wireless technology to connect to either a Mac or PC. The laser light of the cordless mouse is nearly invisible and very safe, according to the company -- it beams down onto the surface and reflects back up; a sensor in the mouse detects movements and translates that to cursor motion.

More Sega PC USB Controllers

More Sega PC USB Controllers 12/28/2004 01:07 PM

sega_pcub.jpg imageSega has released more USB controllers for PCs, available in a variety of new colors, including the always sassy pink. I've never been a Sega controller man, myself, preferring the SNES pad on the whole, but I think it's fantastic that companies continue to release controllers from years past, despite a wealth of conversion dongles that let you use the original units via USB. Why? Because I like to spend money. (Thanks, Rom!)
