Drawn in the syle of the animated series, "Hide in Plain Sight" stars Luminara Unduli and Barriss Offee and their Clone Army faceing off against the Separatist Forces on the planet Nadiem. Led by General Grievous, the battle droids have the Jedi surrounded for an easy victory. Or is it? Unlike 2002's FCBD edition, this is a full-length comic book, and best of all...it's free!

Our Comic Book Gallery is updated today with a special collection of the newspaper strips by Archie Godwin and Al Williamson. Published in 1991, Russ Cochran collected the strips into a three-volume hardcover set was signed by the creators and included a special slipcase. Big thanks to David Fein and Stephen Moore for the images.

Plasq.com has released Comic Life 1.0 for Mac OS X, an application that lets users add comic book-style embellishments to their digital photos. You can add simple captions to your photos or even use them to create full-fledged comic books, according to the developer. A demo download is available, and the full version cost US$39.95 to register.

Amazon has posted information about the eagerly awaited Clone Wars animated series DVD. They say that Lucasfilm is not currently making it available, but all customer interest will be forwarded onto Lucasfilm in order to indicate how much demand there is for its release.

The 4-page program contains the main characters, an overview of the series, character bios, and an episode guide of the first season. Undeniably, 2004 has been an amazing year for Star Wars collectors, and it looks like Hasbro plans on sending the year out with a bang. After less than a month since their announcement, the third series of Animated Clone Wars figures are shipping. Unlike the two previous waves, this set is not exclusive to Target. The set shown above were found in a Wal*Mart in Louisville, Kentucky for $5.55 each by Rebelscum reader Mark. Though the red Clone Trooper wasn’t found, there is no indication that it is not shipping with the other five figures.

Hasbro updates today with news on the second wave of animated action figures from the Clone Wars. This wave consists of a Clone Trooper, Count Dooku, Durge, and Master Yoda. Look for these to hit exclusively at Target stores in spring 2004, just in time for season 2 of the Micro-Series.

Rebelscum reader Mike Richard (AKA: Bossk the Wookie Hunter) reports finding the exclusive Clone Wars Animated figures at serveral different Targets in Central, Massachusetts (Worc, Wesborugh...etc). "They ring up at $6.99 however none of these figures had self tags and were hanging on the $4.76 tags. Targets sold a set to me for $4.76 each without any hassle." Let the hunt begin!
