designed to save Adobe Illustrator 10.0.3 users from having to perform
repetitive tasks. Automata merges templates -- Illustrator files
containing place holders -- with a text source file containing content
info. Zumedia said that Automata can output up to 1,500 files per
hour, and it outputs to Illustrator, PDF, EPS, JPEG, GIF and Flash
formats. Automata for Illustrator CS is coming soon. Automata 1.0
costs US$135 for a single license; that includes an interactive user
guide and 43 minutes of QuickTime video tutorials. System requirements
call for Illustrator 10.0.3 and Mac OS X v10.3.
