It's nice to know that all it takes to make $850,000 these days is a half-assed idea, some photoshopping, and eBay. Considering what a revolution in display technology these "DoubleVizion" laptops will be - complete with very accurate system specs despite the fact I don't think there are any real units - the asking price to license the patent pending dual-screen laptop system may just be a steal.

Have I ever told you guys about my design for a gas-powered jelly dong? You know, nevermind, I don't want to sell that. The Doublefisted Diesel Dodongo will be my gift to mankind. (Thanks, Josh!)

When I go on the road my laptop has a 40 Gig drive but that is just not enough and I carry a 60 Gig Firewire external just to have all of my data with me. Finally someone has developed a 100 gig 2.5 inch hard-drive. Time will tell how these will perform. Japanese techies are going to get a shot at them first but they will not be cheap. [Engadget]

Matt test drove a Prius. He liked it, but says the gas mileage isn't nearly as good as advertised: "After 150+ miles I averaged nearly 54 mpg."

The key device, which is about the size of a small box of wooden matches, slides into a slot in the dashboard. The next step in starting the car, according to the quickstart guide, is to press the POWER button. I had to laugh — this car boots up. I really enjoyed pressing that button.
