Sprint has officially unveiled the Samsung i600 smartphone, a Windows Mobile 2003 clamshell (the first Windows Mobile unit for Sprint PCS, they say). Their website has it listing for $470 and it should be in stores next month. This is essentially the same phone released last year by Verizon, so don't expect a whole lot to be different than that (or any other Windows Mobile unit, really).

The upgrade is free to all Verizon customers and can be found on Verizon's web site.
